Aim of course

criticism capability and (planning) ability to act from analysis and knowledge of tourism concepts, individual understanding of 'atmosphere' and 'inspiration' in the context of the module, concepts for integrating of 'the intangibles', contextual understanding of the handling of complexity for (tourism) concept development and design, coarse know about dramaturgy and storytelling in terms of design and concept development, contextual knowledge of visual language and medialization of tourism concepts / locations; intended didactics of this course: applied learning

Subject of course

analysis of tourism concepts and locations, visual perception in the context of the module, tourism and its visual culture, architecture and tourism concepts as locations of stories and dramaturgy / staging, interdependencies of tourism sites and their media coverage, insight into storytelling and visual language (analogies with performing arts)
