After successful completion of the course, students are able to recognise and develop local qualities as the basis of tourism. They will be responsible as planners and consciously considerate in their use of resources. In this field of tension, graduates are able to react to tourism tasks in a target-oriented design way and to propose and evaluate development scenarios.
The historical development of tourism architecture leads into the complex structures of today's tourism constructions in the broad spectrum between architectural masterpieces and the destruction of regional cultures.Different levels of scale in tourism architecture, planning and construction are illuminated, from regional planning and urban development, building volumes and materials to hotel rooms and restaurant design.On the one hand, tourist construction makes functional demands on planning, on the other hand, a special potential of architecture lies in its effectiveness on the tourist experience.Experience Economy is today's term for the joint orientation of architecture and tourist offerings in the design of tourist perception.

Proof of performance in the module is provided by fulfilling the attendance requirement, appropriate cooperation and the preparation and presentation of short presentations on specific topics, as well as the development of a tourism concept (design project) on a topic of your choice with reference to the current main topic "Weinviertel". This work is to be carried out in small groups of 2-3 students each. There are therefore no examinations for the individual courses.
