After successful completion of the course, students are able to process their professional and methodical knowledge in the design, presentation and construction of urban spaces as well as the necessary scientific, technical, social science and cultural science knowledge in a diploma thesis or dissertation.

The aim is to offer the participants sufficient professional support for the preparation of high-quality scientific work, to establish useful contacts and interdisciplinary cooperations, and to offer individual, topic-related support. In this sense, the goals are related both to the work process itself and to the examination of the respective work topic.

The general teaching content is to familiarize the students with the methods and organization of writing a scientific paper. The specific contents depend on the respective topics of the diploma thesis and dissertations, which can be discussed in intensive personal work meetings.
