Aim of course

Collective investigation or rather construction of the main features of a system-theoretical understanding of organisations. Treatment of the distinction trivial/non-trivial machine. Examination  of organisational processes. The aim of the course is to convey the different logices and (self-) control mechanisms of individuals, groups, and organisations. In the ideal case the participants will experience the resulting contradictions and challenges and reconsider his or her place as an actor with respect to organisation.

Subject of course

Classical understanding of organisations: the system-theoretical view of organisation, groups, and individuals. Organisations as autopoietic sysstems. Is there a structured inner world and surrounding of organisations? Design principles of companies/project organisation/process organisation. Is it possible to manage knowledge and learning in organisations? Observing communication. Developing strategy as future-oriented (forward looking) management task. Exploring the culture of an organisation. Organisation as temporal form

Für Studierende des zweiten Studienabschnitts (Master) gedacht! Vorlesung mit praktischen Übungen, Selbststudium, Einzel- und Gruppenarbeiten. Blocklehrveranstaltung!
