Theory and praxis of the international history of ideas of the urban. Examination of recent urban development structures and of the theme of the mediatized or virtual public room. Acquiring higher proficiencies in the areas of town planning and usage. Subject-related complementation to the drafting exercise and recent urban questions.
The Modul consists of following courses: Urbanes Wohnen Stadtgeschichte und Stadtutopie Sondergebiete der Urbanistik Der urbane Raum FREI - RAUM - KUNST Urban Restructuring Archäologie des urbanen Raumes following courses are recommended in addition: Ökosystem Ballungsraum Ungeplante Stadtentwicklung Stadtgestaltung und Stadtbildanalyse Observation of the change of urban definitions and structures along chronological, societal, economic, and spatial lines and aspects. Focal points result from architecture-based mutual interactions of urbanism, spatial interventions, society, contemporary art and landscape.
