After successful completion of the course, students are able to explain mechanisms for the renewal and development of urban neighborhoods. They will also have the competence to assess the effects of urban renewal measures in the context of other cities.

Participation Participants of the design "Retrofit Gemeindebau 3.0" and / or of the module Development and Process Control

2023-24 and/or will be prefared.

Number of participants approx. 25 students; please register in TISS.

Expected prior knowledge: Basic knowledge of urban planning processes and their frameworks.

Prerequisites: Admission to the master's program in architecture, participation in both excursions in Oct and Nov 2023.

Participate in both field trips in Oct and Nov 2023; prepare and submit a project report.
