The aim of the course is to convey the fundamentals in the fields of urban design and urban development, relating both theoretical knowledge and current practice of urban planning and construction.
The lecture presents a fundamental introduction in the themes of urban design and urban development. The lecture conveys knowledge on the historical, current and ground-breaking developments, which helps develop an understanding of the challenges for planning on a large scale.
