After successful completion of the course, students are able to grasp the vast transformations brought about by the ongoing process of digitalization within the big picture of Digital Architectonics: they will be familiar with basic concepts in mathematical thinking, and are capable of grasp the interplay between mathematical thinking with philology and coding.

The lecture "Architecture and Mathematics" introduces architecture in dealing with theorems. Cities and buildings are miniatures of the world. Mathematical theorems host virtual views of the whole world. They are less a world model than a virtual world view, against the background of which a specific locality can be communicatively qualified. The lecture conveys fundamental figures of thought in mathematics, as an uncorrupted 'way' (method) to enable the roles of nature, space, time and intellect to be tapped through all ages and cultures.

Vorlesung und Diskussion. Aufgezeichnete Vorlesungen werden über den ATTP YouTube Kanal zu Verfügung gestellt. Live Diskussionen werden wöchentlich, jeweils Freitags 14:00-18:00, für alle Lehrveranstaltungen des Moduls gemeinsam stattfinden.
