After successful completion of the course, students are able to think algorithmically.
Specifying the problem helps the students to understand the correct use of algorithms during the planning process. That means, students will be able to understand the problem and to divide it into a number of solvable sub-problems. That's why programming is not the main focus of the class.
A mock-up or a simulation of the process will show the practicability and usefulness of the proposed algorithm.
How can we produce customized bricks? This is the question which will be answered during the course. The standard process of production should not be slowed down but modified in order to produce customized forms.
The form of the brick should meet specific requirements of a curtain facade. Requirements may include climate, orientation, purpose or an overall design.
Presentation of the progress, discussion, end presentation.
