After successful completion of the course, students are able to develop new formats and ways of thinking architectonically to appropriate the question: how to render the continuum between nature and technics?

Students will attain a broader understanding of architecture, not only as a discipline aimed at the realisation of buildings and their surroundings, but also as a device of architectonic thinking that concerns and connects both material and immaterial domains of production and theory.

The course will develop in a presence format. In the event of a changed Corona situation, there may be changes to the format to distance learning.

The course will be structured in different components: a series of lectures focusing on the topic of the course will be alternated weekely by a set of exercises based on the provided materials, followed by presentations and discussion of students work.

The course will be provided in English and so is the preferred language for all other communications.

Only participants attending the course, actively engaging in the discussions and delivering the scheduled exercises will be admitted to final evaluation. Attendance and participation are therefore mandatory.

Adobe programs After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop would be used as software but proficiency is not required. We recommend pre-installing the software under the Adobe license that the TU makes available to students for 30€/year.
