First steps into scientific work.
Through the analytical analysis of realized buildings, scientific working methods are learned and trained. The focus is on the interaction between material selection and material application as well as the architectural, technical and ecological requirements.
Apart from the architectural and technical aspects, interdisciplinary questions and economic perspectives are dealt. Criteria for sustainability in large-volume massive buildings are also given.
In addition, excursions to production sites are planned. The students should get an insight into the practice and the methods of production in solid construction.
Inventory analysis and documentation, writing a seminar paper, public presentation of the results in the form of a short speech.
The student must have at least all of the course(s) completed listed below:
