This lecture is occupied with supplementary subjects in digital architecture and urban planning. Its contents vary from semester to semester.

Current Subject (LVA IS HELD IN ENGLISH!):

"Generative Design in Architecture and Urban Planning" (15:00-16:00)
and
"Learning to Program" (16:00+ [Privatissimum/Optional])

We will be reading through landmark papers in Generative Design(GD), in order to acquire scientific skills in architectual sciences (mandatory). This part will be supplemented by a voluntary/optional privatissimum in which we learn programming, in order to be able to implement some of the concenpts found in literature ourselves.

By presentations

If you can read this, you have met all course requirements (the language of academia is English, and therefore all participants must be able to communicate in that language). All other points are optional, i.e.:

• No previous knowledge of programming is required, it will be tought in the course
• Some previous knowledge of academic work (i.e. writing a paper) is helpful, but also not required; we will gain insights into academic work during the course.
