After successful completion of the course, students are able to create simple graphic animations, work with keyframe animations and animation curves and create effects like masking, chroma keying, wire removal, particle effects, rotoscoping and many other more.
The students are exposed to various techniques in video and film editing and compositing. Different film formats will be reviewed and analysed. Starting with simple graphic animations the participants are making themself familiar with keyframe animation and animation curves. Further effects will include: image adjustments, masking, chroma keying, wire removal, particle effects, rotoscoping...Software used in class: Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and digital video cameras.
Lectures, hands on software training, practical exercises, film projects, thoretical technical imput.

Attending the first class is mandatory. Students that fail to come to the first class will be removed from the list.
Students are evaluated based on active class attendence and a series of small projects as homework assignments.

Every student needs to have access to a digital film camera during this course. (a smartphone is sufficient)
