Aim of course

Compact review and depthening of the scientific foundations of acoustics

Subject of course

This course aims at enabling students to understandthe fundamentals of acoustics:

physical acoustics
building acoustics
room acoustics
function of the human ear.

Additionally the course equipes students with the necessary background knowledge for the use of high-performance acoustical simulation tools .
