Special topic spring term 2017: it is part of the Sondermodul "Bildungslandschaft in Bewegung". In consultation with the instructor, the student chooses the appropriate form for the creative output, and a scholarly research.
Experience in School: a full day in class
During this course we will have a close look at Viennese schools, in particular schools with an afternoon program. We will visit primary schools and middle schools in order to find out how children and teacher experience the architecture of their school. We will monitor behavior and do interviews with teachers and children as a kind of post occupancy evaluation.

Students are asked to turn in a comprehensive portfolio on their research. The Portfolio is intended as a means for students to develop and demonstrate their research and scholarly competencies.
