In this course students will intensify their research within a module course of their choice. In consultation with the instructor, the student chooses the appropriate form for the creative output, whether a design, a journalistic essay or scholarly text.
Issues discussed in the classes of this module include journalism, exhibitions, manifestos, PR strategies, scholarly research, interpretive methods, and the social reception of architecture. CAGEY FABRICATIONS is a creative component in which the students will have to produce an academic paper, a piece of journalistic writing, or an exhibition concept that extends the discussions in one of the lecture areas. This is useful for anyone who wants to become an independent writer on architecture, a researcher, a journalist, a mediator, or a PR specialist in an office.
There will be 3 Groups Group1 (Lead by Michael Zinganel) and Group 2 (lead by Kuhlmann/Artner)
