Nach positiver Absolvierung der Lehrveranstaltung sind Studierende in der Lage...
After successful completion of the module students will be able to apply innovative methods for healthcare facility design that prioritize patient and staff well-being, along with a foundational understanding of intelligent sensor systems, BIM/digital twin technology, and parametric design. Additionally, they will acquire person-centered research skills to enhance patient experiences and optimize medical procedures in healthcare environments, ultimately contributing to more compassionate, human-centered, and technologically advanced healthcare facilities.
Courses of the module:
VO 2.0/2.0 Introduction to Advanced Architectural Design for Healthcare
This lecture series will teach students how to design healthcare facilities with advanced architectural and technological features, focusing on promoting well-being through evidence-based design, technology, and person-centered research techniques.
The course will take place on Tuesdays from 12:00, with the first session on Tuesday, March 5th 2024, and the last session on Tuesday, June 25th 2024.
VU 3.0/2.5 Technology-driven healthcare design
This technology-driven healthcare facilities design course explores advanced methods and architectural features supported by technology, emphasizing data monitoring, processing, and interactive models to enhance architects' understanding of technology's role in healthcare design.
The course will take place on Tuesdays from 15:00 until 17:00, with the first session on Tuesday, March 5th 2024, and the last session on Tuesday, June 25th 2024.
VU 3.0/2.5 Evidence-informed healthcare design
In this course, participants will act as researchers in real-life healthcare design scenarios, using the scientific method to inform architectural solutions for addressing patient-centered challenges in healthcare environments.
The course will take place on Tuesdays from 09:00 until 11:30, with the first session on Tuesday, March 5th 2024, and the last session on Tuesday, June 25th 2024.
SE 2.0/1.5 New perspectives in healthcare design
This seminar focuses on an in-depth analysis of advanced architectural features in healthcare facility design to create a knowledge database that aids designers and fosters innovation in this field.
The course will take place online, on Mondays from 10:00 until 12:00, with the first session on Monday, March 4th 2024, and the last session on Monday, June 24th 2024.
