Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to acquire thesis within the framework of a diploma programme or other scientific publications like a doctoral thesis or scientific reports on research studies.

Subject of course

Methods of scientific research, collecting of scientific relevant materials in archives, oral history, collecting and extracting of scientific relevant materials in libraries, basic research and criticism of source materials.

Teaching methods

Lectures dealing with the content of the subject and choosen exercises with regard to the students considered scientific studies or publications like a diploma or doctoral thesis.
