After successful completion of the course, students are able to describe a research topic and work on it independently as part of their diploma thesis. The students learn to structure the shape of a thesis, to create a timetable and to work through a draft from the concept to the draft, to propose detailed solutions and to document the work comprehensively and to present it in bound form as well as verbally.

The Diploma Thesis has to be classified primarily as a Design Programme and a theoretical work has to be regarded as an exceptional case only.

Use support of a DVD - Worksheet/Analysis of Building Design 08 - available in the secretary`s office. For more information see the poster on the board. Portfolio of the design programmes is required.
