After successful completion of the course, students are able to grasp the complexity of housing production. This complexity is presented - in simplified form - via the criteria for the choice of development typologies or floor plan and spatial concepts and the legal framework conditions.
Topics are: from history of housing in Vienna to contemporary projects / typology / circulation systems / low rise housing / high rise housing / quality in housing / concepts for floor plans / space / social aspects / living as phenomena / design for all.
The lecture is offered as a frontal lecture due to the large number of students. The individual lecture contents are made available as pdf via TUWEL.
