The course Bioregional Assembly, Material Resonance, Salzkammergut is embedded in the context of the cultural capital Bad Ischl in the Salzkammergut.The course consists of a research phase dealing with the mapping of bioregional-local materials and resources, excursions to the area and its surroundings and a workshop where the results of the research are practically applied and implemented in a hands-on 1:1 workshop.The focus of the workshop and the research course is on the use of natural sustainable materials such as fibers and clay.Research into local structures and resources, the practical handling of tools and the understanding of how to use the clay material in a 1:1 workshop are particular focal points of the course.
