After successful completion of the course, students are able to develop an independent architectural-constructive position on specific spatial requirements. Issues relevant to questions of building construction are to be addressed as an integrative component of the architectural concept.

Design and construction of a walk-on platform for installation on the courtyard façade of the TU Vienna (Karlsplatz, 4th floor of the Lammtrakt).
Different usage scenarios are to be designed for the platform depending on the seasonal conditions (open-air seminars, break room recreation area, winter garden/planting, herb garden, sun protection, photovoltaics, etc.). Further access to the roof area above is desirable.
The architectural concept must be worked through constructively and, in particular, presented using a 1:20 scale model.
