After successful completion of the course, students are able to implement the gained knowledge in their projects. During the excursion they will gather an understanding of the location and complex history of the Brijuni islands and its spatial specificities in relation to display. Likewise, different relevant buildings are visited and studied on site.

Travel and accommodation must be organized independently! Details will be announced at the introduction meeting on Friday, March 1, 2024.

April 11th, 2024 Arrival at Fažana individually. (The students will book their accommodation for Apr 11th to Apr 15th and the trip by themselves.)
April 12th, 2024 Morning: Guided tour on Brijuni
Afternoon: Meeting in Fažana
April 13th, 2024 Morning: eventually a second guided tour on Brijuni, alternatively meeting in Fažana
Afternoon: Guided tour in Vodnjan, afterwards a lecture by Branka Benčić
April, 14th, 2024 Morning: Visiting relevant architectural sites in Pula
Afternoon: lecture by Emil Jurcan
April, 15th, 2024 Morning: own research
Afternoon: individual departure
Accommodation in Fažana will be booked individually by the students for themselves.

Teams of two will work on an analysis of the site, the visited buildings and the guided tours and present it on one of the following dates in Vienna.
