After successful completion of the course, students are able to plan a contemporary multifunctional building on an urban hotspot. At the same time, essential knowledge of building theory, such as typological conception, functional organization, choreography of circulation, etc, are acquired.

With the construction of the new central station, a completely new urban environment has emerged. Some of the contours of this environment are already fixed, some of them are still open. The station forecourt is not yet defined, especially in the northwest. There, a new multi-functional building is to be planned, which closes off the station forecourt spatially and at the same time programmatically enriches it.
