After successful completion of the course, students are able to be in a position not to be satisfied with the objectively constructed real environment and to question common urban, residential and architectural concepts and to re-understand architecture in its essence.
Discovery of new principles of form in architecture. Opposing architecture stands for the importance of an architecture that contrasts with the objective conception of architecture. In the foreground of this architectural design is the development of an independent architecture, which does not take part in the historical design or current architectural styles.
Designs explore architecture in its essence and are not content with the objectively built real environment. The questioning of common urban, residential and architectural concepts is the core of the design, whereby high quality of life and practical purpose are in the foreground of these considerations. The innovation takes place on all scale levels, from the design, object to the structural and detailed plan.
In the exercise course every student presents his work via Beamer. Each project will be discussed in the group. The works are equally available for everybodys access and need to be digital uploaded before each presentation or correction date. Every student can follow the process and criticism of all projects and beyond the course he can reflect all incidents on his own.
