We will search, research and define this Space considering dreaming, music, art, sport and outdoor space essential needs (like eating, sleeping, hygiene and work).
The program will be elaborated by all students based on their research on minimum essential needs (see above) extended with own research results through interviews..
An exemplary vision:
Imagine: Minimal space for maximum multifunctional usage… One element shall serve several functions… The same place / room could offer all listed functions for one or more persons. A multifunctional collective can then be the result of additions of these places.
Austrian and Thai students will start with interviewing (1st research topic) young, elder, local, foreign, urban and rural people. Findings obtained will be transferred into spatial dimensions (concept models) following a holistic approach (2nd research topic). The design process is driven by reviews, discussions and reflections.
The suitable and the actual place in Bangkok as well as local materials and craftsmenship will be researched by Thai students with help of instructors based on teamwork research and insights.
The energy related topics including intelligent technologies, energy production and energy savings will be researched by Austrian students with the help of instructors based on teamwork, research and insights.
Teams comprising of Thai (1-2) and Austrian students (1-2) work together on research, analysis, concept, design, discussion, materials and details by using skype and ftp-server as means of communication means. No footprint shall be left on the planet.
