After successful completion of the course, students are able to know and describe criteria for scientific work in the feidl of architecture. They understand their specific consequences and interrelationships and are able to apply scientific assertions and methods to concrete research questions. They are able to evaluate scientific texts and integrate them into their own research work. They are able to master the elementary rules for relating scientific content in different types of text for different audiences and are able to present these in written form and verbal form.
The subject matter of the seminar in fall 2019 is a small element in educational facilities: the "reading or learning-stairs" that have become something like a symbol for advanced architecture for schools and kindergartens.
