Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to lan, manage and control complex architectural-/large-scale projects. The lectures focus on general planning, project management and control in all phases of performance - from the preliminary design to the handover of the building.

Subject of course

Systems engineering; project organisation, project management and control; tasks, interfaces and communication of the project participants; General planning and construction management; performance and remuneration models; BIMan and BIM General Planning; Scheduling and cost planning and control; Best bidding procedures for services, construction and delivery services; standards and regulations; Test engineers. Anti-claim management, handling of performance changes, supplementary review, in-depth offer review in accordance with BVergG 2018. Risk management: Dealing with planning, procurement and construction risks.

Teaching methods

Lectures, analysis of complex architectural plans, discourse on case studies.
