After successful completion of the course, students are able to visually communicate their project better, to know different presentation techniques and to develop their own form of presentation. The result is a joint exhibition display and a publication.

“Current Competitions”
Winter term 2019 is about the architectural competition – in this specific case, about the analysis and appropriation of competition pictures.
In the course of the seminar, each participant will design a sheet with the main focus on the pictures:
- Analysis
- Study of competition images
- Image
- Implementation of presentation techniques analysed: drawings, collage, rendering etc. composition
- Narrative structure, sheet division, layout submission competition
- Exhibition
- Introduction to exhibition formats – display as a common connecting element

Lecture and exercise with focus on topics of the Department of Spatial and Sustainable Design.
Focus on concept development and implementation of different presentation formats.
Objective: the result is a joint exhibition display and a publication.
The Graphic Design lecture will only be conducted in combination with Graphic Design exercise 253.497.
The introduction event will take place on 10.10. (9:00–11:00) in seminar room 4.

Registration modalities:
ATTENTION: the lecture is coupled with the exercise!
The exercise is limited to 25 participants.
Participation is via a portfolio application.
Portfolio requirements: one A3 page portfolio and one motivation letter (500 characters). To register, please use the pdf form in the “documents”-section.
The topic of the seminar will be architecture competition.
I would ask everyone to take this into account when developing their portfolio.
