After successful completion of the course, students are able to work on a field of expertise selected by themselves scientifically properly by way of studying literature critically and formulating expediant questions. They are able to introduce and argue this topic independently in written form as well as verbally.
The key aspects of the diploma or doctoral thesis are discussed regularly to review the knowledge.
The students are instructed how to look for concrete case studies, how to find them, and finally how to critically examine them. Regular presentations and subsequent discussions intend to instruct the students how to develop scientifically correct questions that bring them closer to their goal or to realize that it is necessary to query the usefulness and to reformulate this goal. The target is to make them gradually self-sufficient.
In regular intervals the students present their recent work progress in presentations that are discussed.
