A students education is not limited to the campus excursions, specific in site and theme, are being offered to enable students to focus their attention on subjects outside of the university grounds. The excursions are concretely tied to a design project, with particular emphasis on research topics such as ecology, interior design, building with ecological systems, densification of urban space, and product design.
The purpose is not to view architecture and landscape as time-lapse content, but rather to allow foreign places and cultures to have an active role in a projects design process; on-site workshops, coops with other universities, and contact with the regions are to enhance this interaction.
