The lecture starts with the topic space and its perception in an urban context. What is the reason for an effect? Starting with the outside space, we will try to find comparisons with indoor spaces. If we change our imagination about scale we could discover very similar phenomenons. Furthermore there are investigations to the topic of spaces in between, threshold areas, atmosphere and perception, limits and openings of spaces, space and movement. The characteristics of space will be brought in a system and a summary of space designing elements will be made.
