In this course, students are exposed to various digital tools and media that are commonly used in the framework of the master programme Building Science & Technology to support knowledge-based design decision making, to conduct research, and to disseminate results.
This module provides technical and methodological knowledge to relevant digital tools and media, as well as competent handling of a wide range of digital tools and media. These include word processing and spreadsheets, database environments, mathematics and statistics packages, information visualization, fundamentals of software engineering (including scripting) and scientific computing.

*** The first lecture is scheduled on Monday, Oct 5, 9am, in PC1-Room (take your laptop - equipped with MS Office - also with you!). MS Office can be purchased inexpensively (TU students only) via http://www.sss.tuwien.ac.at/sss/
