After successful completion of the course, students are able to deal creatively with historical buildings, because all design work on protected structures requires specific expertise and appropriate strategies. The excursion (calendar week 44) is linked to the small design studio 251.855 "Denkmalpflege und Entwurf: Strategien der Erhaltung".
The excursion fee is approx. € 450,- and includes the costs for accommodation, transfer and entrance fees on site. Students are responsible for their own travel arrangements and payment.
