Nach positiver Absolvierung der Lehrveranstaltung sind Studierende in der Lage, Beispiele in der Verwendung von digitalen Modellen in der Bauforschung und Baudokumentation zu nennen und diese kritisch zu diskutieren.

In accordance with today's omnipresent digitization strategies, which do not stop at art and architecture, cultural sciences and humanities, teaching and research is becoming increasingly accustomed to the use of digital tools. The task at hand for these disciplines is now to responsibly contribute in shaping the evolvement of the new technologies - in theory, methodology and application. Discussion is especially needed to determine where the new technical capabilities can meet the requirements of researchers also in these fields for scientific analysis. 

The aim of the conference is to encourage creative thinking, to create a platform for exchange and cooperation in order to develop future projects and initiatives on these very sensitive topics - in the hope of promoting an intense exchange between architecture, art, archaeology and technology!
