After successful completion of the course, students are able to contribute in the process of building-documentation as basis for analysis of a historic architecture and possible project development in a historic context. An understanding of collaborative work within a medium-sized project team and in application of various methods of docmentation is achieved. Further, students are able to manifacture plan material according to applicable codes and regulations.
Within the course students learn to explore and research Schloss Drosendorf applying tools and methods of building archaeology. The work on-site as well as the task of compendig a basis for design and planning is seen as a process of getting to know the object in depth to foster a considerate context.based design.
Contents of th course are the practical application of a 3D laserscanner and photogrammetric capture on site, as well as processing the captured data into a basis for design as well as plan documents according to applicable codes and regulations.
