The design course aims at discussing of the arrangements of workmanlike conservation at the monument as well as creating building projects within historical and listed building constructions.

In 2021 Timisoara in Romania will represent as European Capital of Culture with an opportunity to generate considerable cultural, social or economic benefits. On this occasion our design course will deal with the search for new functions of the historical tobacco factory which is a listed monument. The factory has been founded in 1846. Most of the now and then more than 2,000 labourers were women. Our research and field studies in Timisoara will be supported by members of the faculty of architecture of the Polytechnical University.
