Presentation of the development of Austrian architecture from circa 1800 to 2000 on the basis of a division into types of building: Introduction - Military and civilian buildings of rulers and the state - Private representative and residential buildings - Company houses, settlements and terrace housing - Apartment blocks, small and large-scale housing estates - Building for trade and commerce - Locations of services and production - Building for transport systems and technical infrastructure - Hospitals, institutional homes and hotels - Buildings for education and learning - Exhibition buildings - Cultural venues (theatres, music halls, etc.) - religious and memorial structures
