After successful completion of the course, students are able to ...

- do research about architectural space and its users, and to present the  analyses visually.

- prepare and to do workshops, excursions and/or input-lectures on architecture for pupils.

- understand the perception of architectural space of users, to get pupils interested in architecture and to awake enthusiasm for new educational spaces.

Learning spaces are changing- a new vision for learning!

We will take a look at the changing learning environments in the urban fabric as spaces for communication, information and social interaction. Change are due to  new media, a growing commercialisation of knowlegdge vs free access of knowledge.  This class is part of the Sondermodul "Bildungslandschaft in Bewegung". We will take a look at historical and contemporary learning environments. Students are asked to devolop their own digital mediation concepts on educational spaces. The goal is to develop new visions for future educational settings.
