The design course aims at discussing of the arrangements of workmanlike conservation at the monument as well as creating building projects within historical and listed building constructions.

The content of the design course is the goal to convey learning and understanding of conservation and building projects of listed building structures, ensembles, factories, abandoned industrial plants and brownfields.

In the concrete the design course will deal with both the urban potential and the problems of re-utilization by focussing the abandoned site of the former textil machinery factory "Independenta" in Hermannstadt / Sibiu in Transsylvania (Romania).

Die Einführung in die Lehrveranstaltung findet am Mittwoch, dem 11. Oktober 2017 um 14:00 Uhr c.t. im SemR 251 (Stiege III / 2. OG) statt.

Die Exkursion nach Hermannstadt / Sibiu wird in der Zeit von 19. bis 25. Oktober 2017 abgehalten. Die Teilnahme an der Exkursion ist unabdingbare Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme an der Entwerfen-Übung.
