Aim of course

The design course aims at discussing of the arrangements of workmanlike conservation at the monument as well as creating building projects within historical and listed building constructions.

Subject of course

The content of the design course is the goal to convey learning and understanding of conservation and building projects of listed building structures, ensembles, factories, abandoned industrial plants and brownfields.

The exercises will deal with the design for a lapidarium at the archaeological excavations of Magdalensberg as well with the design for a lapidarium completing the carinthian museum at Klagenfurt.

Additional information

An introduction to the subject of the design course will be held on Thursday, 9th March 2017 at 10 a.m. Location: SemR 257, Stiege III. Reviews and discussions, corrections and presentations will take place once a week on Thursdays between 10:00 and 12:00 o'clock.

The exkursion visiting monuments in carinthia at Klagenfurt, Magdalensberg and Teurnia will be held from 3rd to 6th April 2017. Participation is liable.
