After successful completion of the course, students are able to implement selected building projects within the framework of participatory processes.
This course is coupled in the SS 2019 with the LV 251.831 Kleines Entwerfen "Design/Build: Lehm-Sitz-Skulptur im Neu Marx Garten". This is the design and implementation of a sculptural, three-dimensional sitting area for the hobby gardeners of the Urban Gardening project Sophiengarten. The course architecture documentation and presentation / transdisciplinary interactions mainly involves the implementation of the project and can also be attended as a single course, regardless of the design project.
The LV Architecture Documentation and Presentation / Transdisciplinary Interactions is about the collaborative implementation of the selected design. The implementation takes place as a participatory process, which also includes the `gardeners', neighbors and all those interested. As a "soft skill", this course is therefore aimed at students of various disciplines who are interested in participatory processes and joint activities. Alongside the construction process, the following `soft skills' are used: scheduling, group-dynamic processes, solution-oriented discourse management and social skills.
The methods are as follows:
- Crafting skills
- Skills in the handling of clay
- Participatory processes
- Sociocratic decision making
