After successful completion of the course, students are able to impart basic knowledge om the fields of industrial monument preservation and of research on industrial culture structures, in particular about history and scientific research methods on industrial archaeology as well as about strategies by dealing with the care for our industrial heritage.
The practise cares for background knowledge about the content of the lectures on monument preservation and industrial archaeology.
Terminology, history of industrial archaeology, history of the industrial revolution, stock of industrial monuments, values of monuments, endangering of the industrial heritage, laws and public relations, methods of prevention and inventory.
