Aim of course

The identification and assessment of historical structures. The investigation of possibilities for maintaining the building elements assessed. Interdisciplinary consideration of the phenomena.

Subject of course

Discovery and recognition of the building materials of importance for old buildings, the way they are processed and the associated constructions.

These findings should reveal the structures relevant for the design. The change of materials and technologies over the course of historical development, from the roof down to the foundations.
