After successful completion of the course, students are able to successfully master the requirements for a diploma thesis or dissertation, from the selection of the topic to the design and submission of the work.

According to the respective status of the thesis or dissertation, individual discussions of the work and discussion of interim results take place. Particular attention is paid to scientific work, the research topic, the methodology of research, the structure and presentation.

Introductions of the lecturer by word and images, criticism of exemplary thesis, text reading, joint discussion.
