After successful completion of the course, students are able to transfer the (art)historical questions and problems debated in the module to contemporary current topics and thus determine the relevance of what they have learned.

The lecture series is closely linked with the research topic of the module. In addition to the seminar program, current trends in architecture will be presented and discussed in the lecture series together with invited experts. In independently formulated essays, the students reflect on topic-relevant issues and take a own position on the content.

Renowned architects, art historians, professors from other universities, etc. will be invited to give lectures on the respective topics and discuss them with the students.

Submission of a printed folder until 31.01.2020 in the secretariat of the Department of Art History (at least one sheet per lecture, 1/2 page summary and 1/2 page critical commentary, maximum two pages per lecture).
