Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to transfer the (art)historical questions and problems debated in the module to contemporary current topics and thus determine the relevance of what they have learned.

Subject of course

The lecture series is closely linked with the research topic of the module. In addition to the seminar program, current trends in architecture will be presented and discussed in the lecture series together with invited experts. In independently formulated essays, the students reflect on topic-relevant issues and take a own position on the content.

Teaching methods

Renowned architects, art historians, professors from other universities, etc. will be invited to give lectures on the respective topics and discuss them with the students.
