Topic in SS2021:
Analysis and application of roof structure recordings
Since 2019, the Research Department Building History and Building Research has been working on a partially automated processing of 3D point clouds of roof structures.
For the LVA, data from the project will be made available as an example to offer students insight into application-oriented further development of building research methodology. On the basis of data sets of historical roof structures, individual processing steps in the workflow for the partially automated derivation of bar models of the roof structures are worked out.
Thus, students have the opportunity to get to know the workflow of processing 3D data (recorded by laser scanner and photogrammetry) on the one hand and to participate in the further development of this workflow on the other hand.
Delivery of plan material and presentation of the workflow and result
Lecture notes for this course will be provided.
