New visual media play an important role in architetctural representaion. Sometimes videos are used to give a better understanding of the project than a drawing, sometimes such video simulations help to try out different design solutions. People who want to buy a home, check out video clips of the property and the neighbourhood on the internet. In this class we start with a theoretical anlyses of a given film clip. The next step is to formulate a user-based or target-group based concept and to prepare a film clip according to those criteria.
It is recommended either to take at the same time the Modul Meta Architecture or the courses Architektur:Film (251.041) by Zeniti or Theorie des Films by A. Silva (english), both in spring term 2014.
The task is to produce a film clip which will be shown at the exhibition "The Art of Re-Creation in Sweden/Austria" in July 2014
