This course examines recent developments in contemporary architecture with particular emphasis on the issue of how the architectural discourse is constructed. This semester we will again present several young successful female and male architects who work in various areas of the architecture profession and who will show their work.

Lecture on Video: - will be available after easter break -
- Each lecture will be filmed and made accessible in TUWEL.
- Only students that are singed up to the lecture course, in TISS, will be able to get access to the TUWEL Class. The access will be granted manually so it might take some time until the TUWEL class is available to you.
- The availability of the taped lectures will be announced in the forum of this lecture.
- The videos serve as teaching material and foundation of an image recognition, a part of the final exam, where you will have to recognize buildings and architects in context of the lecture. To deepen your understanding of the lecture content you are supposed to study the videos.

The exam consists of two parts:
Part A: online exam TUWEL (a positive grade is required to sign up to part B)
Part B: written exam.
