Extending between Europe and Asia, metropolis Istanbul is the economic and cultural center of Turkey as well as the center of the architectural scene. The unique feature as geographical situation of Istanbul, position as a link between east and west, as well as the mixture of informal settlements and planned urban development makes the city one of the most interesting urban spaces of Europe. The field trip to Istanbul and a joint workshop with students at Bilgi University is planned to provide a deepening understanding of the task.
Beurteilungskriterien: Entwurfsidee, Konzept, Variabilität, Erlebbarkeit des Raumes Reaktion auf städtebauliche, topografische, klimatische Verhältnisse, Innovative Ansätze, Innovative und logische Anwendung von Materialien, Verständlichkeit des Bausystems, Präsentationen 1. Präsentation: Erste Präsentation wird digital (Powerpoint oder PDF)gehalten. 2. Präsentation (Abgabe Entwurf): Die Arbeitsschritte sind jeweils auf Paneelen und digital als Powerpoint oder PDF zu präsentieren. Für die Entwurf Präsentation sind die Paneele mit Inhalt Konzept und Entwurf (Grundrisse, Schnitte, Renderings), zu präsentieren.Endpräsentation wird mit Teilnahme von Lehrenden und Studenten der Bilgi Universität Istanbul in Wien stattfinden. 3.Präsentation (Abgabe Konstruktion-Detail): Für die zweite Teil der Abgabe (Konstruktion-Detail) sind die Paneele mit Inhalt Konstruktion und Detail zu präsentieren
